Puppies For You and Me

The purchase of a wonderful little cuddly puppy can be a fantastic experience. It is because a dog can be your closest friend, a real pal. Puppies are adorable bundles of cute wagging tails, soft eyes and warm puppy kisses that pull at your hearts out, urging you to take them home. The choice of a puppy should not be made on the spur of the moment as there a lot of pets shops advertising their puppies for sale. Doing so has often resulted in owning a dog that does not meet the expectations of the prospective buyer. Many times these dogs are eventually resold, offered for adoption and or sometimes end up in the pound. Well, this is not the fault of the poor puppy; the blame goes back to the uneducated owner .

Before looking for dogs for sale, talk to several dog breed owners about the type you are interested in, collect information and make an informed choice. Each breed was developed for a specific function and, as a result, their personality and traits may not match your home and lifestyle. Be sure to make yourself completely familiar with the breed you are interested in before deciding to buy one. Remember, your puppy is depending on you to care for and love him for life. If you opted for a show dog, remember that all dogs should always be, first and foremost, your companion, that deserves a lifetime of love and good care. If you intend to show your dog, you will want to obtain a pup that displays the qualities that are necessary for the show ring. Just remember that until a puppy is fully grown, no one, not even the breeder, can be sure that the puppy will be developed to a good show dog.

You will be buying a puppy that has what is termed show potential. This means that the pup has good show dog potential that can be developed to become a good show dog. However, it is common for their traits to change as they grow, and some promising pups don't quite develop according to their potential. But we should bear in mind that the true value of a dog will be in the loving companionship that he provides, and the bond that you develop.

And so imagine bringing home the cute, cuddly little puppy. Everyone is thrilled and everyone become so attached. The puppy grows into an unhealthy dog and became part of your home and family.
